Oh yah it will be rockin that whole weekend. You will have fun, it you can make it work and stay thru Fat Tuesday its a lot of fun though. Fat Tuesday is the day many people dress up too, bring a costume and enjoy yourself.

HELL yes we do. we go to the Endymion parade (one of the biggest in new Orleans) i always set up 24hours before it actually starts to get a good spot

The weekend before Mardi Gras is crazy! A lot of people just go for the weekend cause they can’t get off of work, but if you can stay til tuesday it’s so worth it!

You’d better make your hotel reservations NOW – if you can even find anything in the city. If not, look in Metairie or Slidell.

Ditto pringles. The most famous parades take place that weekend before Mardi Gras, but it’s great you’ll get to stay past the weekend. You’ll be there for Lundi Gras, and you’ll get to experience the quietest day in New Orleans, Ash Wednesday.
